I've not seen the red porche, but I think it does look better in black - because, haven't you heard? Black is the new black!
The angle from which this was taken seems to be slightly below eye-level, as if one is looking a little bit upwards at the porche. For some reason this seems to reinforce the status that such an expensive and well-respected car commands.
