Krita is a nice, high quality digital painting program from KDE. There are versions available for various Linux flavors as well as Windows and Mac OS X.
If you have a wacom tablet or a tablet PC, this is definitely one you should try out. It's free software, so what do you have to lose?
The Krita developers are currently running a kickstarter campaign to raise money to support the development of the next major version of Krita. I'm going to pledge $50.
The software is worth at least that much to me, and supporting the developers is a great way to spend that money.

I have attempted to explain the situation that I became aware of over my monthly checkups on DeviantART. I was hoping you could check this situation over and resolve this as you can. The current admin in my place there doesn't understand my message at all, and is and has been harassing an innocent Deviant along with a co-conspirator.

I'm sorry, I don't know if you have anything to do with this "Core" business, but i'm really looking for a friendly admin for some answers. Why? Is dA in financial trouble? Everyone would donate, but this upping of prices makes it impossible and ridiculous for anyone to buy premiums. Lots of people are leaving. You guys need to fix this.
